National Day of Prayer…

A Proclamation by the President of the United States of America

Honor’s Program…

DBU’s new Honors Program held its first meeting to prospective students today.  The program requires students to take 30 hours of credit within the Honors Program.  For instance, you can take ENGL 1301H – Honors Introduction to Language and Literature, instead of the normal ENGL 1301.  These classes will require more work of the students involved.  Requirements are a 3.5 GPA, and the students must have less than 70 hours when they apply.  For more information, contact Philip Mitchell, new Honors Program Director, at x5226 or philipm@dbu.edu.

Cinco de Mayo Dr Pepper Break…

Free snacks and drinks on Thursday (NOT Wednesday) in the Quad beginning at 2:30.

Student Life Pancake Study Break…

There will be a late night study break with free pancakes at 10pm in the Crowley Cafeteria on Thursday.

This honors program sounds interesting.  There are many major schools that have programs like these.

Hi!  Is there any way that students could list books that the bookstore will not buy back on here?  Just as a way for other students to be able to buy books for summer or next semester...just an idea?!?
